For the very first time historic aircraft from Norway are invited to Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Yeovilton Air Day in UK.
We won the prize for best fixed wing display this year at RNAS Yeovilton Air Day for our Vampire pair aerobatic display. This came as a total surprise and a fantastic recognition for us to be given this prize from the prestigious RNAS Yeovilton Air Day. The prize was presented to us at the airshow party by RNAS Yeovilton Flying Display Director Cdr Henry Mitchell.
We also flew in the V formation. Vixen, Vampire FB.52, Vampire T.55 and Vulcan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQlhi8sCePs It was an honor to be asked to fly in this important formation lead by the Sea Vixen piloted by Simon Hargreaves, and with the Avro Vulcan in the nr. 4 pos.
